Leah Prussia, DSW, LICSW, SEP

Dr. Leah Prussia identifies as both a micro and macro social worker. Leah’s practice includes work with trauma and addressing climate-related mental health impacts. Their clinical approach includes teachings from Anishinaabe Elders, Nature, Somatic Experiencing, and Relational-Cultural Theory. Leah’s community practice focuses on fostering mind/body and personal/planetary relationships through neuroregulation and collaboration with the natural environment. Leah is actively involved with environmental justice initiatives including Rights of Nature and is presently working with a collective to secure rights for the St. Louis River Estuary. The St. Louis River Estuary holds spiritual and ecological significance for the Anishinaabe and those that consider Duluth Minnesota home. Leah is sole proprietor of Natural Connections LLC and an Associate Professor at the College of St. Scholastica.
