Lillian Beaudoin, MSW
Founder of Cool Down Los Angeles, Director of CX at The Black List
Expanding climate resilience through narrative-first communication.
Beyond her work pursuing kind CX with the Black List, Lillian is a creative producer and independent climate justice researcher based in Los Angeles. Her current projects explore how story and foresight might be better leveraged to advance social equity movements. Past research projects have included topics like urban heat equity; expressions of eco-grief and the need for social work to be fluent in interventions that address and acknowledge climate emotions; how foresight might be utilized to expand climate crisis communication via participatory imagination and scenario-planning; as well as how emerging tech could partner with the arts to create experiential visions of climate futures.
Lillian worked as a creative in the entertainment industry for 8 years before pivoting to advocacy-focused work. She’s an avid ttrpg fan and is currently part of a 3+ year running, all-queer Dungeons & Dragons campaign with no end in sight.
